Nobody said they were tossers. They are cunts though.

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Not all Arsenal fans are tossers. Take Paul Kaye, Rory McGrath, Clive Anderson and Jonathan Creek are OK

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Ha ha , you are right

Cole is proof that you can score early and be shit
Henry is proof that you can take longer than Bin Laden wants you to score for the first time and be a great.

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
You're right, he does sum up most Arsenal fans, Hornby, Morgan, Corbyn, Bin Laden.....all cunts.

You seem to be a bit all over the place Sven, if a player doesn't score early doors then he is shit, even if he goes onto to have a season equally as good as a player who scored in his first game. You then mention an out and out striker who didn't score for four games, and who was considered a great striker by cunt Arsenal fans. You then use Cole as an example. Not sure of what.

Odd, all very odd.

I'm going for a nice glass of red mate, I think you probably need one too.

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Carlton Cole scored in a matter of seconds for us

You seem to be floundering lashing out at Arsenal fans
I’m happy to take the opinion of Nick Hornby in his book as to the early opinion of Mr Henry as it seems to match that of Arsenal fans in general

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Took Smith 4 games to score his first goal. He wasn't previously a winger too, was he?

Trevor B 9:56 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
So all strikers should score in the first minute or they are fucking shit?

Nice one Sven. You sure you aren't an Arsenal fan?

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Any of those players learning a new position, as you keep stating?

I'm not sure why you seem to be in love with Arsenal fans? They are cunts, as I may have mentioned.

We seem to have a lot of cunt fans ourselves, who demand instant success. There were people on here calling for Arnautovic to be sold after just as many games, if not less.

Cunts, they're everywhere.

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Lacazette took 1 minute didn’t he?
Any numbers for Wright or Anelka?

Sven Roeder 9:52 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
For a striker at a top club I imagine Arsenal fans would expect an early goal or two
Which I am guessing they got from the likes of Alan Smith, Ian Wright, Anelka , Lacazette etc
Any of those take 8 games to score?

Trevor B 9:49 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
It took him 475 minutes to score his first goal as a striker, after 160 games as a winger.

I wouldn't say that just over 5 games is 'some time'. I refer you to my previous comment about Arsenal fans.

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal fans are cunts btw, you can have that for free.

To the consternation of Arsenal fans

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Yep, he was superb in his first season. As you have attested to.

Sven Roeder 9:43 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
So your point is he was brilliant right from the start and easily settled in to being a striker in the Premier league
Without a hiccup and he scored from day 1
Like Lacazette
And ‘French Perry Groves’ was a compliment

Trevor B 9:40 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
So 160 professional games as a winger and it only took him EIGHT games to learn a completely new position and then go on to score a total of 26 goals that season?

Wow, that's fucking amazing.

Sven Roeder 9:38 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
No
And I didn’t say that
He scored a goal after 8 games and has said the early months of the season were difficult as he learned how he had to play as a striker in the Premier league.
Obviously he had the talent and intelligence to adapt and actually turned out quite good
But he wasn’t an instant success

Lacazette was the first Arsenal player to score in his first 3 home games since Brian Marwood

Re: Alexandre Lacazette
Not sure why everyone is comparing Lacazette to Henry anyway. Not every player will have a 20 goal first season and most strikers experience a goal drought. It's way too early to write him off.

I guess anyone that says we dodged a bullet with Lacazette is a huge fan of watching Andre Ajew wandering around up front instead.

Trevor B 9:32 Thu Jan 11
Re: Alexandre Lacazette
He learned in 8 games?

That's fucking superb then.
